HEALTH - Investigation and Analysis - Audience Research
i decided to ask people within my target audience some relevant questions about there lifestyle. this helped me narrow down the subject i would focus on (being active). this also helped me figure out what type of add im doing as i found out what my audience like and what they like within an add. finding out about my audience made it easier to plan making my campaign
Feedback- Questionnaire questions
My audience is 60% male and 40% female. This tells me that my target audience is focusing on both genders. This helps me vary how I make my healthy eating add
Out of all the responses, this tells me that my audience is targeted between ages 16 and 18. This tells me I am targeting this campaign towards a younger audience.
My audience vary in how often they exercise. This will be beneficial to persuade people to exercise more often as if people don’t exercise too often, then an add might motivate them to be more active.
Here my audience have mentioned their favorite sports/ exercises. This means when making my add I wont have to dedicate it to one particular sport. I will be able to vary what I target it towards.
70% of my target audience don’t eat their 5 a day. This means as apart of my add I could mention eating healthier food like holding a piece of fruit in my hand to persuade the audience to eat their 5 a day
My audience have told me what motivates them to exercise. With my focus group questions I would then question them further why these things motivate them to help with my research
My audience have told me that having a healthy lifestyle and doing exercise makes them feel positive. This means in my advert I could show someone being happy to show the positive effects of doing exercise
70% of my audience have told me that they don’t eat healthy. As a result I could emphasize healthy eating in my advert to get younger people to have a better diet
Focused Group Research
I then asked a group of friends some detailed questions in order to develop my audience research further to get a more detailed response than i did in the survey results. This helped give me answers that i didn't get in my survey. this helped develop an audience profile. i questioned my audience based on their lifestyle and how often they exercise and how it affects them. By gathering these results i could then identify a gap in the target audience which will be more beneficial for my audience as i am promoting something which will help them more.
