CANON- Interpreting the brief
The Brief
We have been asked by Canon to create a Print ad or advertorial for Canons magazine to tie in with their latest campaign called Journeys. This will be used to help promote their new Product line. we have been asked to create an ad for young adults aged 15- 25 years old. The purpose of this is to persuade young people to get into using Canon equipment to create media. This will Teach the younger audience how Photography can be used effectively to create media.
My initial thoughts
Canons previous magazine adverts were clearly made for older people by the complicated layout of magazine covers with lots of images and text. My main concern is if i make mine like this, the younger generation will find this too complex and not pay attention to the add. To make this eye catching to young people I'm looking into minimising it down to not put off my audience from wanting to enjoy canon products
