CANON- Project Rationale
I then created a power point pitch in order to present to my audience the overview of the brief as well as my thoughts on the brief and what I'm going to do for the brief in order to help promote it to a younger audience. I briefly went through everything so far giving background info on the client, some research into what the client do such as the products they make as well as the types of advertisements they make to promote their products. I then show examples of previous campaigns to generate ideas on the types of products i might create in my campaign so my audience understand. I then finish off by giving an overview on what I'm doing for the campaign as well as asking if there was any questions on what i went over so far.
At the end I was asked to go into detail on what i plan to do for my products. In which i respond explaining how i would create a print advert and magazine cover. I chose the print advert as not all young audiences like reading therefore an image will visually show what the product is as well as its features and capabilities which will attract the audience with the high quality specs without them having to read up on the product, they can just see what it looks like as well as the quality of image it can create, and the add will justify their needs.
I then wanted to do a magazine cover for those who do like to read and want some more brief details on the product as well as where to find more info such as a website link. It then lets me go over the name and model specs of the camera and explain the features. This is really good for selling the product to the audience as it is more persuasive.
This was a good opportunity to pitch my ideas to my audience so they know what the brief is about and so they can ask questions if there was any concerns or queries with the brief so far. It would also give me any last minute feedback before i move onto the production phase incase my plan so far didn't suit my audiences needs.
