HEALTH- Pre production Logistical elements
before shooting we had to do lots of organisation of where i was going to shoot, who was in the shots, i had to outline any risks that might happen. i also had to make recourse list so i could plan what equipment i would bring with me on days of filming. therefore i had to print out and fill in lots of legal documents so efficiently plan the making of the advert in a professional manner.
I created a Contributors release form in order to get consent from the people at goals to use their facility to record this advert. This form also gave us the permission to publicly release the add with their property in the background. in other words i am granted the rights to use their facility to film and share publicly.
i created a location release form to get permission from goals to use the facility. this gives me the right to enter the building in order to film when required. this also applies for employees, agents and other contractors working for me to enter the facility. i am also allowed to record in the facility and bring in any equipment i need to help me record and produce my advert. by them signing it i am allowed to do that in the date and time frame-stated
i created a resource list so i could plan what equipment i was going to bring with me on shooting days. this let me stay organised so i could come prepared to the shooting on the day and not forget anything. also this would make me be aware in advance of if and when i would need to book to rent equipment such as the camera and tripod so i could ensure it would be available to use instead of not booking for it and it then being taken by another group.
a risk assessment form was created in order to identify all the potential risks and hazards that could potentially cause harm in the filming environment. since it is a football pitch the only potential risks or hazards would be the weather, tripping over or getting injured during play. but since the recording and everything is planned apart of the act, the is no intention for this to happen
in this form i briefly explained how somebody could be exposed to certain hazards. obviously its a relatively safe environment so 2 of the hazards are NA (not applicable) so therefore couldn't talk about them. but for the hazards that could potentially happen in my recording environment, i explained the risk from the hazard, and then i explained the control measures i would take to stop people being affected by these hazards
i created a schedule to organise my time effectively so i knew what work id be getting done within my time-frame. since i am making a print add i knew it wouldn't take multiple days i am just taking still pictures so it was just about timing it right and taking the right shot at the right time. i just needed to get there, set the equipment up and take the shots. the only issue was waiting for a day of good weather. the entire filming process would only take 1 day unless some shots turned out blurry or didn't turnout as intended and therefore retakes would need to be taken.
